July Community Update

Dear RefToken Community, This month we’ve got many exciting new developments to share with you.

We’ve already got a firm foothold in one of the most exciting blockchain hubs in Europe, if not the world, the Island of Malta. Malta is fast becoming one of the epicentres of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, which is great for meeting new clients and building lasting relationships, which is why we chose to strategically locate there.

However, we’ve gone one step further, and this month we are pleased to announce we have opened up a brand new office in the crypto-friendly hotspot of Gibraltar! Between Gibraltar and Malta, we are able to leverage our unique position in these tight-knit crypto communities to make strategic partnerships, share information and onboard new clients to use our RefToken affiliate tracking solution. This is a big step forward in our growth, and our global reach.

Our ICO platform is progressing well. We are still busy signing up multiple clients, many of which have joined us this month. In addition to helping these clients with the progression of their ICO stages, we are integrating them with our ICO platform so that they can track conversions and affiliates using our technology.

Although we can’t yet release the specific details, more information will come soon. These new clients join our existing clients, including Chiliz.io, GanaCoin.io and others, in being a part of our unique ICO platform.

Our implementation of fiat payments within the platform is nearing completion. Likewise, we have also began offering clients using our ICO platform security ICO’s complete with dividend payments; this is currently under development alongside our more sophisticated affiliate tracking technology.

We also have new hirings! Elliot Hill has joined us from the UK, as a Community Manager. Elliot is a PhD researcher and blockchain enthusiast, and also an early investor in RefToken. He’s going to be active in our Telegram channels and over on our RefToken Reddit page, and helping us write content. Welcome Elliot!

In other news, Malta have passed three landmark cryptocurrency bills, expected to take effect in early October. The final reading covers the regulation of initial coin offerings (ICOs), offers guidelines for cryptocurrency exchanges in Malta, and regulation of the cryptocurrency & blockchain sector. This news is expected to vastly increase the amount of new projects locating in Malta, enhancing the already vibrant blockchain sector.

Once again thanks for following our updates, we look forward to the coming months with you all!
